Meraki| Change how firmware reporting/metric is returned
We are trying to use LG as a source of truth for Meraki firmware version and whether it is up to date. When looking at the LG inspector the firmware is reported differently than from the Meraki dashboard. Results are not appearing in the expected format and are sometimes incomplete (e.g. 3 different Meraki devices/types): Firmware: wired-18-2-11 Firmware: wireless-31-1-6 Firmware: cs-17-2-1 When looking at the same three devices in the Meraki dashboard the firmware details show: MX 18.211.5.2 MR 31.1.6 MS 17.2.1 The Meraki dashboard includes the series and current version with decimal separators; Liongard is reporting wired/wireless/cs instead of the series, and presenting the firmware version hyphenated instead of separated with decimals. In addition in the first example of the 3, the version #, 2 .11 is concatenated & incorrect (wired-18-2-11 which should be MX 18.211.5.2) In addition the metrics in Liongard don't include whether the firmware version is up to date, which is a value present in the dashboard firmware summary. MX68, MR36, MS125-48LP Update the query and response for Meraki devices to return the firmware version in the correct format and include the complete version unmodified. This should include the model prefix (MX, MR, MS, etc..) and ideally include a query for the UP TO DATE field so a metric can be displayed for it. I have attached screenshots of three examples from the Meraki dashboard and Liongard Inspector side by side.
