Description:

Request to build a two-way integration between Liongard and Jira Assets (formerly Insight Asset Management / Jira CMDB). The goal is to allow asset discovery from Liongard to feed into Jira Assets, while also enabling Liongard to monitor for changes in Jira Assets for continuous auditing and change detection.

Core functionality:

Liongard ➔ Jira Assets:

Push discovered assets (servers, endpoints, SaaS systems, network devices, etc.) into Jira Assets automatically.

Populate mapped fields in Jira CMDB to centralize asset visibility.

Allow mapping of key Liongard system fields to Jira Asset fields.

Jira Assets ➔ Liongard:

Monitor Jira Assets for newly added assets or changes.

Detect when devices or records exist in Jira Assets that are not discovered by Liongard, or vice versa.

Generate Liongard actionable alerts on discrepancies or newly identified assets.

Automated configuration drift detection between real-world discovered assets and Jira-managed records.
